Venda Ravioli was running two separate ecommerce platforms. BigCommerce powered nationwide orders, while a legacy Cart24 system managed local pickup and delivery, forcing customers onto completely different websites depending on how they wanted to shop.
For a business built on repeat customers, gifting and seasonal demand, that fragmented experience created unnecessary friction. Customers couldn't browse everything in one place, place a single order across fulfilment methods or enjoy a consistent buying journey. Behind the scenes, the team were also managing separate payment systems, fulfilment workflows and reporting across two disconnected platforms.
We migrated Venda Ravioli to Shopify, bringing the entire business onto a single platform ahead of the busiest trading period of the year.
Alongside a complete redesign using a premium Shopify theme, we built a highly customised ordering experience around Zapiet, allowing customers to seamlessly choose between local delivery, collection and nationwide shipping throughout the site. ShipperHQ and Bespoke Shipping were integrated to calculate local delivery rates by postcode, while custom product options supported complex deli and catering orders. We also restructured the catalogue to make it easier to browse more than 280 products.
By bringing the entire business together on Shopify, customers could finally shop the way they expected, while the team gained a single platform to manage orders, fulfilment and day-to-day operations.
The combination of a better customer experience and more efficient operations delivered immediate results during the holiday season, with the improvements continuing long after launch across revenue, order volume, local pickup and delivery, and CR.
